So dark the con of man
So sweet the taste of fear
Caused to flee so many men
And on her cheek a silent tear
She's standing all alone
Waits for his return
The cold comes to her bone
And she has to learn
That he never will return
Her heart ist broken
Her voice ist dead
She has got no home
Not even an own bed
There she stands
It's started raining
Suddenly feels some hands
She stops crying
Turns around and just nearby
There they are who had to die
She takes the ice-cold hand
And leaves to nowhere-land

Anlass für dieses Gedicht war ursprünglich der "Da Vinci Code", diejenigen, die ihn auf Englisch gelesen haben, werden den ersten Satz wiedererkennen. Und das Lied "Corner of my mind" von Vanilla Ninja war meine Inspiration für den Inhalt.
